Well it is all destiny as Neeraj Pandey's Aiyaary is again set to clash with R Balki's PadMan. The two films which were earlier colliding on January 26 will now face each other on February 9. Actually, it's Padmaavat which altered release dates of many movies.
When Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced that he will also be releasing his magnum opus starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh on Republic Day weekend, Aiyaary rescheduled its date. Realising the crowd and its impact on their film, Aiyaary makers shifted their date to February 9, clashing with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Swety. However, Sanjay Leela Bhansali urged Akshay to postpone his film's release and the actor kindly accepted it. But, interestingly PadMan decided to release on Feb 9, again colliding with Aiyaary. Makers of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety have postponed their release to February 23.
While, Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra have already shown their displeasure on Twitter, official handle of Aiyaary posted something amusing on micro-blogging site. ''Good to have you back! See you on 09.02.18,'' it wrote.
Aiyaary is set in the backdrop of defence and stars Manoj Bajpayee, Sidharth Malhotra, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher. PadMan, on the other hand is a biopic on entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham, featuring Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in key roles.
