New Delhi: Salman Khan is at the centre of a sparking debate from the moment his name has been announced as the goodwill ambassador for Rio Olympics.
So far, his selection has garnered mixed response from the public.
While some think that his inclusion will boost the morals of Indian athletes before the Olympics while an equally large number of people find it ridiculous to have Bollywood actor endorsing a sports event.
Many sportspersons like Milkha Singh, Yogeshwar Dutt and Dhanraj Pillai have criticized the decision of Indian Olympic Association (IOA) to appoint Salman Khan. While the controversy is still embroiled, an online petition on Change.org about the very issue surfaced.
