New Delhi: Going brave and coming out with flying colours seems nice but sometimes the courageous step can go all wrong. When Hollywood actress Julia Roberts walked the red carpet at Cannes film festival barefoot, she won applauds for stomping the rules set by the organisers. Similarly, when Aishwarya tried the new by applying purple lipstick, she got mixed reviews (mostly bad).
She made fantabulous appearances at one of the most stylish events of the fashion calendar first by wearing a glittering gown, then a ravishing red Naeem Khan creation followed by an Elie Saab dress. But on Sunday she drew flak from the fashion police.

At the première of her upcoming movie ‘Sarbjit’, Aishwarya chose flower-strewn Rami Kadi dress and coloured her lips in a lavender-blue hue. Her lip colour choice was labelled a fashion disaster by many. After her decadent, glided and grand appearances the earlier days, she did not please many on Twitter with her latest look.
Though, time and again Aishwarya has said that she does not pay much heed to fashion police or their trolling ways; but she was still made a joke on Twitter by many.
