Aishwarya RaI Bachchan, who was last seen in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, has been grabbing spotlight for her upcoming film Fanney Khan. Now, rumours are abuzz that the actress is all set to play the role of a surrogate mother in KriArj Entertainment’s new venture titled Jasmine: Story of a Leased Womb. Earlier, it was being said that the makers were rooting for Anushka Sharma to play the lead in the film. However, it now looks like they are more interested in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
KriArj Entertainment has joined forces with Shree Narayan Singh for the third time, after Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Batti Gul Meter Chalu for Jasmine.
The makers are in talks with Aishwarya Rai to play the lead role, according to a Mumbai Mirror report. Talking about the film, Shree Narayan Singh told the daily, "It is inspired by a real-life story of a woman in Gujarat who doesn't want to have children but decides to become a surrogate mother for someone else. After a point she gets attached to the child and wants the child back."
Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment was all praise for the Devdas actress. “We would love to have her (Aishwarya)but it will depend on her dates”.
She further added, “Working with Aishwarya on Fanne Khan has been a pleasure. Now, there are two more films we are collaborating on with her. Siddharth Anand will be co-producing the film with me, which is an edgy thriller. This film will see Aishwarya in a double role and we will soon finalise the leading man opposite her."
On a related note, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be soon moving out of Jalsa mansion and start living in a plush apartment worth Rs 21 crore with husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya.
