After sharing a wonderful chemistry in Queen, Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao are coming together for another film. The duo will be seen in a psychological thriller film, latest reports suggest. The film will reportedly be directed by K Raghavendra Rao’s son Prakash Kovelamudi whose directorial debut Bommalata won a National Award.
“It’s a fast-paced thriller revolving around the two protagonists. Set in London and Mumbai, it is expected to roll in March. Raj recently heard the script and immediately came on board. Both Kangana and he are looking forward to working with each other once again", according to a Mumbai Mirror report.
Rajkummar and Kangana had earlier appeared in Vikas Behl’s comedy-drama Queen, which went onto become a path-breaking film in both the actors’ careers.
“Yes, there are talks going around that the two will be working together in an upcoming thriller. Both of them are also looking forward to it as they had fun working in Queen. The film is going to be directed by K Raghavendra Rao’s son Prakash Kovelamudi whose directorial debut Bommalata won a National Award. So with three National Award winning talents together, it will be a great movie to watch out for. The work on it will mostly start in March”, a source was quoted as saying to Indian Express.
Meanwhile, Kangana is busy with the shoot of her upcoming period film, Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi, whereas Rajkummar has many Bollywood projects coming his way after the phenomenal year he had. He will be seen in Ek Ladki Toh Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ which stars Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Juhi Chawla; horror comedy, Stree, with Shraddha Kapoor and finally Fanne Khan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
