Sachin Tendulkar's biopic, Sachin: A Billion Dreams has released today. The movie has been declared tax free in Maharashtra. Along with zillion fans of Master Blaster, many celebrities have praised the film.

The decision to waive off entertainment tax has been taken by the state government to honour the contribution of Tendulkar in the world of sports and to ensure that the film reaches maximum number of people in theatres.

The docu-drama has been written and directed by British filmmaker James Erskine.

It is produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival MotionPictures under the banner 200 NotOut Productions.

The movie focuses on personal life of Sachin and unfolds some unknown about the cricketer’s life. Many celebrities including Aamir Khan, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt gave good wishes to Tendulkar before the film’s release and also shared their favourite Sachin moment.

Amitabh Bachchan also had good words for the film.

The film has been previously declared tax free in Odisha, Kerala and Chhattisgarh.
