A month back, Kangana’s first look from her forthcoming project Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi got released and the diva looked strikingly beautiful in her never seen before avatar.
And now Ankita Lokhande is winning hearts in her regal look as Jhalkaribai from the film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Ankita’s first look from the film dropped on the online platform today. Ankita, who rose to fame with TV series ‘Pavitra Rishta’, is carrying the regal look gracefully in the pic. In the first look, Ankita can be seen donning a Maharashtrian nauvari saree along with a traditional waist belt.
Recently in an interview to a leading Mumbai daily, Ankita said, "I'm indebted to Kamal(Jain) sir for this challenging role in a big-budget film scripted by Baahubali writer KV Vijayendra Prasad alongside a National Award-winning actress like Kangana, who exudes power and is an inspiration to all women."
The film is based on the valiant Rani Laxmibai. The project features Kangana Ranaut in the lead role.
