Veteran actress Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor resumed the shooting of her debut film Dhadak, few days back. The lady will be seen sharing the screen space with Ishaan Khatter in the film and some of the behind-the-scenes pictures and videos from the sets have been doing the rounds on social media. It seems that this didn’t go down well with the makers and they have reportedly banned mobile phones on the sets.
According to a report of a leading daily Mid-day, director Shashank Khaitan and producer Karan Johar are taking every possible step to curb leaks in future. Thus, crew members have been asked to submit their phones before entering the sets.
A source revealed to a leading daily that when the team came to know about the leaked pics, they reached out to Instagram Help Centre. However, only one video was removed and the other went viral as it was shared by various fan pages. It was from the Jaipur schedule of the film.
It further added that the movie is the remake of Marathi film Sairat and thus the filmmaker is trying to guard the looks of both the actors to keep the mystery alive.
Shashank was unhappy with leak as he said that they can’t stop people because everybody has smartphones these days. He urged fans to be more supportive.
Dhadak is all set to hit the screens on July 6.
