Ever since the news of actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor’s film ‘Ok Jaanu’ broke out, people started comparing it with their previous project ‘Aashiqui 2’. It seems that even the makers of their upcoming flick couldn’t get over Mohit Suri’s directorial as in the latest still from the flick; the couple has recreated their famous ‘Aashiqui 2’ pose but this time without a jacket.
Filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted a picture and wrote, “This January.....#OkJaanu ....” In the picture both the actors are seen holding hands in the rain reminiscing the epic pose of Aashiqui 2. However, this time the jacket was missing.
The trailer of ‘OK Jaanu’ was released recently and it was quite clear from it that the movie is no way similar to ‘Aashiqui 2’. The former portrayed two commitment phobic, free spirited and ambitious people who were not sure if they were in love. On the other hand, the second part of Aashiqui franchise showed Aditya and Shraddha as soul lovers who were ready to sacrifice anything for each other.
The movie has already generated curiosity among the audience with the revamped version of some old songs.
‘OK Jaanu’ is the remake of Tamil film ‘Ok Kanmani’. Directed by Shaad Ali, the film is slated to release on January 13 and clash with Deepika Padukon’s Hollywood debut ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’. It will hit the screens on January14.
