Abhishek Bachchan in awe of wife Aishwarya Rai after watching Fanney Khan
Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to turn heads with her latest Bollywood offering Fanney Khan. The film, also starring Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has hit the cinema halls today and, is facing the box-office battle with Mulk and Karwaan. Now, actor Abhishek Bachchan has watched the movie and given his review for the Atul Manjrekar directorial venture.
While Abhishek Bachchan is full of praises for Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s performance, he confesses that his favourite remains his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Reviewing Fanney Khan, Junior Bachchan took to Twitter and wrote, “Just saw #FanneyKhan. What a beautiful film. A great message and worthy film. Congratulations to the entire team. Leaves a huge emotional lump in your throat. @AnilKapoor, Rajkumar, Pihu, @divyadutta25 are all so, so good. And the Mrs. continues to be my favourite! Best wishes”.
Fanney Khan is the official remake of the Belgian satirical comedy, Everybody’s Famous! (2000), which went on to be nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 73rd Academy Awards.
While it is unclear how much of the film’s narrative with explore a budding romance between the film’s two lead stars, Bachchan and Rao, the unusual pairing of the duo has generated a lot of media buzz.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan says Fanney Khan has a vital message for people, encouraging them to believe in themselves and the magic that they have within.
“This film gives message that you should believe in yourself. Believe in all that you have within yourself because the magic is within you. Believe in a blessed life as life is beautiful, and therefore, experience it and smile with all that you have to give it to life,” she said at the film’s screening in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan will be seen next in Manmarziyan alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.
