Star couple Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will work together after a long gap of seven years in filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's movie ‘Gulab Jamun’, according to media reports. It further added that the film is going to be a romantic comedy.
If reports are anything to go by then both the actors looked convinced with the script but have not yet given their nod for the project. The flick will be bankrolled by Anurag’s Phantom Films and will be helmed by a debutant.
Reportedly, megastar Amitabh Bachchan will also play a key role in the flick. However, official announcement on the same is still awaited.
If this news turns out to be true, then movie buffs will get to see the couple on screen after a long gap. Aishwarya and Abhishek last shared the screen space in 2010 in Mani Ratnam’s directorial venture ‘Raavan’. In fact, it will be a delightful treat for movie buffs to watch the trio of Big B, Junior B and Aish together after so much wait.
Well, now people can just wait for the makers to confirm the news.
The couple has previously worked together in films like ‘Kuch Naa Kaho’, ‘Guru’, ‘Dhoom 2’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’. Lately, Aish mesmerised everyone in Karan Johar’s directorial venture ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ where she essayed the role of a poetess.
