Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya who has an impression of being vocal about his opinions on micro-blogging website Twitter, slammed A-listers of Bollywood recently for working with Pakistani artistes. The singer’s comments have come in wake of the Uri Attacks of Sunday in which 18 soldiers were martyred.
Naming filmmakers Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt in his tweets, Abhijeet said they are breeding and feeding Pakistani artists when they should kick them out instead. He also lashed out at superstar Khans for working with them.
His tweets had images of Fawad Khan (who will be soon seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Aw Dil Hai Mushkil’), Mahira Khan (who is working opposite Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raees’), singers Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Abhijeet also tweeted to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj asking why are visas provided to these people.

In his ‘fight’ against Pakistani artists, Abhijeet seems to have gotten support from fellow netizens. Many people on Twitter agreed with his thoughts and tweeted that he is right in asking for a boycott of Pak artists. Here are a few tweets:
This is not the first time that Abhijeet has started a controversy through his Twitter timeline. A few weeks ago, his online rant against a journalist Swati Chaturvedi got him arrested. It was alleged that he online abused Swati and the FIR against him was filed by AAP leader Preeti Sharma Menon. He was later released on bail.
Apart from this, earlier this year Abhijeet had called Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali a ‘Dengue Artist’ from a ‘Terrorist country’, confirming his hatred for the neighbouring country.
