Aamir Khan visits Rishi Kapoor in New York
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is currently undergoing medical treatment in New York. While he is accompanied by wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir Kapoor and his girlfriend Alia Bhatt often visit them. Bollywood celebrities also take out time to meet their favourite actor. Though Rishi Kapoor hasn't disclosed anything about his medical problem, fans and followers are wishing for his speedy recovery.
The latest Bollywood celebrity to meet Rishi Kapoor is Aamir Khan. Sharing a picture from their meeting, Neetu Kapoor wrote a heart-melting post on Instagram. Calling Aamir a true superstar, the actress wrote, ''It’s not how many hours one spends with a person it’s how much u give in that time !!! Aamir gave so much n more Love Respect Warmth Laughter !! Earlier, Priyanka Chopra, Sonali Bendre and Anupam Kher also visited the couple to spend time with Rishi Kapoor.
On a related note, Rishi and Aamir worked together in 1993 Damini, in which the Secret Superstar actor has a cameo. They came together again for 2006 film Fanaa, co-starring Kajol.
Earlier, talking about his treatment, the 102 Not Out actor had said that the process is long and tedious. However, he is hopeful that the break will have therapeutic impact on his mind and soul. "My treatment is on, hopefully, I will recover soon and God willing I will return. The procedure is long and tedious and one needs immense patience which unfortunately is not one of my virtue." He also spoke about keeping his professional life on hold currently. Kapoor added, "Thankfully, I am not thinking about films anymore, just want to be blank and refresh myself with a more relaxed mind. This break shall be therapeutic for me”, Rishi Kapoor was quoted as saying to Bollywood Hungama.
On the other hand, Aamir Khan was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan, which tanked at the box office. The movie, which had an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh, was touted as one of the biggest films on 2018 but it crashed upon its release. Aamir hasn't announced his next project but he has started prepping up for the character.
