Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has been shattering his own records. The superstar's films not only perform exceptionally well in India but also worldwide. It won't be a gross exaggeration to say that China is crazy for Aamir as his movies continue to set benchmark at Chinese box office. After massive business of Dangal and PK, Aamir's last release Secret Superstar released in China and guess what, it got a blockbuster opening.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the news. According to him, Zaira Wasim starrer Secret Superstar's opening day numbers are higher than those of Dangal. He wrote, ''Aamir Khan scores yet again in China... #SecretSuperstar debuts at No 1 spot at China BO... Collects a WHOPPING $ 6.79 million (₹ 43.35 cr) on Fri... Opening day numbers are HIGHER than #Dangal there... SENSATIONAL''
In another tweet, he wrote, ''The tremendous goodwill that #Dangal - and prior to that #PK - created in China has benefited #SecretSuperstar... Although Aamir has an extended special appearance in #SecretSuperstar, Aamir’s star pull is at the peak in China... Expect magical numbers yet again!''
Undoubtedly, Aamir's stardom has mesmerized China. Secret Superstar which released during Diwali garnered positive reviews in India. The movie has Aamir in an extended cameo and has received maximum nine nominations at the Filmfare Awards.
On a related note, Dangal's total business in China was that of Rs 1459 crore and this made its worldwide business to over Rs 2000 crore.
