Superstar Aamir Khan did wonders in China, few months back, with his wresting drama Dangal and now his latest project Secret Superstar is doing earth shattering collections at the Chinese box office. Mr Perfectionist is currently in Shanghai to promote Zaira Wasim starrer and you can’t imagine the reactions of fans when they saw the actor. Aamir was surrounded by a huge crowd who just wanted to get a glimpse of the star.
A journalist shared a picture from the event and tweeted, “Not so secret superstar: Mad crowds for @aamir_khan in Shanghai as he scores another big hit in China after Dangal, film top of box office with Rs 230 crore in 5 days and already surpassed India revenues.”
Secret Superstar has minted Rs 236 crore at Chinese box office in just five days. It is expected that the film is going to earn more amount in coming days. The movie was directed by Advait Chandan and featured Zaira and Meher Vij in pivotal roles. Aamir has done an extended cameo in the film.
Last year, Aamr’s Dangal collected over Rs 1200 crore in China. The movie was based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat.
On a related note, Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan is all set to release in China on March 2.
