Aamir Khan starrer Secret Superstar continues to create magic at the box-office in China. The Zaira Wasim's film has made a record by crossing Rs 500 crore mark at box-office in China.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh stating the total collection of Secret Superstar tweeted, ‘’#SecretSuperstar continues its PHENOMENAL RUN in China… Crosses ₹ 500 cr in 2 weeks… Question is, will it cross $ 100 mn? [Week 2] Mon $ 3.43 mn, Tue $ 3.33 mn, Wed $ 3.23 mn, Thu $ 2.82 mn, Total: $ 79.42 million [₹ 509 cr].”
Previously, Aamir’s film PK and Dangal also made a huge collection at box-office in China. Like his previous films, Secret Superstar also had a great opening in China and made a business of Rs 200 in the first week itself.
Taran earlier stating the positive response for Secret Superstar tweeted, ‘’#SecretSuperstar enjoys INCREDIBLE audience rating on Chinese movie ticket and fan rating sites, which explains the IMPRESSIVE footfalls at multiplexes there… Surprisingly, the audience rating is higher than #Dangal, which grossed approx $ 200 mn in China.”
Secret Superstar is written and directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. The film has also released in markets like the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the UAE and other Gulf countries as well as Pakistan.
