Superstar Aamir Khan has reportedly walked out of Salute, which is based on the life of astronaut Rakesh Sharma. Speculations were rife that actress Priyanka Chopra will be seen playing the role of Mr Perfectionist’s wife in the film but due to the differences with the creative team, the superstar has dropped the project.
Earlier, it was being said that both the stars will work together in the project, but latest reports suggest something else. However, nothing official can be said as of now. Earlier, PeeCee’s mother has denied the rumors of the lady doing a film with Aamir.
It seems that people have to wait little more to see these two talented stars together. An official announcement on the cast of the film is yet to be made by the makers.
Aamir was last seen playing a cameo in Zaira Wasim starrer Secret Superstar. He is currently occupied with the work of his upcoming film Thugs of Hindostan alongside Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan.
Priyanka was last seen in Hollywood film Baywatch. The flick couldn’t perform well at the box office. She will be reprising the role of Alex Parrish in Quantico 3. Her last Bollywood venture was Jai Gangaajal.
