New Delhi: It would sound really absurd but sometimes even our film stars don’t get what they want easily. An ongoing incident in superstar Aamir Khan’s life is proof of it. He had, on his birthday last month, expressed the desire to buy an ancestral home in Benaras for his mother Zeenat Hussain. However, it doesn’t look like an easy going for him.
According to media reports, Aamir Khan’s childhood home Khwaja Manzil is a disputed property and it would take a great deal of trouble to secure the keys to the house.
What is posing more problems for the actor is that the current residents are not ready to move out of the place, despite his repeated pleas.
“The said property is in a legal dispute. Also, two of the three current owners of the house are unwilling to sell the house and are in no mood to co-operate with the star's family and his lawyers. In spite of several meetings the matter hasn't progressed,”
an insider told a leading daily, adding that Aamir is still be keen on owning the house and may have even approached the local residents to intervene in the deal and help him buy the house.
