Although, Sunil Grover aka Mashoor Gulati, Rinku Bhabhi and Guthi shot to fame with Kapil Sharma’s laughter show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS)’, but he was an invention of late satirist Jaspal Bhatti.   

Sunil’s hardship during his initial days:

Ups and down had always remain a part of Sunil’s life but undeterred by his failures, Sunil had always tried to preserve his dream of becoming a star in his field despite all the setbacks.  

Sunil gained immense popularity with his comic character ‘Gutthi’ in Kapil Sharma’s previous show, ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’. But after some alleged spat with his co-star Kapil, he left the show and went on to start his new comic show titled as, ‘Mad In India’, in which he was portraying the character of ‘Chutki’ which couldn’t grab much popularity. 

Following which, Sunil again joined hand with Kapil to start a new show ‘TKSS’. But rumours are making round that he would quit ‘TKSS’, after the recent war of words with his co-star, Kapil.

Aspiring to be a ‘BIG’ screen star:

Very few know that Sunil was a part of few popular and blockbuster films and he has acted in as many as 12 Bollywood films till date. He played the character of ‘Sampat’ in Aamir Khan starrer, ‘Ghajini’. He portrayed the role of ‘Jaidev Kapur’ in ‘The legend of Bhagat Singh’, which was his debutant film. Sunil performed a driver’s role in Tiger Shroff starrer, ‘Heropanti’ and Shraddha Kapoor’s father in ‘Baaghi’.

Sunil, who hails from Sirsa district of Haryana has always tried to keep his personal life under wraps. The ace comedian’s wife, Aarti is a fashion designer and keep herself away from the limelight.

Reports are also there that Sunil, who takes everyone on a laughter riots with his punching lines on ‘TKSS’ practices his dialogue in front of his wife at first and it is only after his wife approval he go ahead with it. The couple have a son named Mohan.
