The most anticipated event of the year, International Indian Film Academy or IIFA Awards has started off with a bang in New York. Amid all the glitz and glamour, B-town divas Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif are giving us major friendship goals. The celeb duo attended the 18TH IIFA awards 2017 press conference on Friday prior to the big celebration at Times Square, known as IIFA Stomp. Our B-town celebs put their best fashion feet forward at the IIFA green carpet. Right from Shilpa Shetty Kundra to Disha Patani, stars enthralled the audience in New York. One of the key highlights was the budding friendship between Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
Too cute to handle
The actress duo bonded like sisters and, they looked adorable together as they posed for the camera. The IIFA 2017 press meet, which was held in NY, witnessed candid talks from Salman Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kiriti Sanon and, the new BFF’s of B-town, Alia and Katrina.
While the Badrinath ki Dulhania star made a striking appearance in a black and white striped gown, the Jagga Jassos actress rocked the event in a tangerine cold-shoulder dress. The duo shared an aww moment at the IIFA Awards 2017 press conference and took, everyone by sheer delight.
Katrina also shared a cute picture on her Instragram with a caption that read, “Dream Team again . At #iifa2017... (missing the rest of you)”.
Further, Katrina said that she hopes that Alia wins two awards so that she can take one home. Now, isn’t that just sweet? Well, we must say the divas not only rocked the mega gala but also developed an adorable friendship.
The IIFA awards night, to be telecast live on Colors, has a star-studded line-up of performers. Apart from Salman, Katrina and Alia, audiences can look forward to Shahid Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon among others on the stage at the Metlife Stadium.
