102 Not Out, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles, witnessed an upwards trend on the second day of it opening. The film, an Umesh Shukla directorial, earned Rs 5.53 crore on day 2. Given that the word-of-mouth is in the film’s favour, one can expect the business to grow Sunday, which will help it put up a decent total by the end of its first weekend.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh said, “Strong word of mouth is translating into BO numbers... #102NotOut witnesses an upward trend on Day 2... 57.10% growth... It’s all about maintaining the pace today [Sun] and also on weekdays... Fri 3.52 cr, Sat 5.53 cr. Total: ₹ 9.05 cr. India biz”
