IndiaTV-CNX Opinion Poll: PM Modi likely to get second term, BJP-led NDA may win 281 seats if Lok Sabha elections were held now

IndiaTV-CNX Opinion Poll predicted a clear majority for the BJP-led NDA government with 281 seats in Parliament if Lok Sabha elections were held today in the country. The opinion poll showed the UPA lagging far behind the NDA with only 124 seats in their kitty. Interestingly, the 'others' seem to outperform the UPA by a margin of 14 seats, winning 138 seats out of 543.

The opinion poll predicts second consecutive term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the big difference is that this time the BJP will not be able to cross the half-way mark on its own in the parliament.

The 'others' will also be present in the parliament in formidable numbers, the opinion poll predicts.

Jammu and Kashmir 

Out of 6 seats in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP is likely to win 2 seats, Congress 1, NC 2 and PDP 1.

Delhi
Out of 7 seats in Delhi, BJP is likely to win all 7 seats.

North-East
Out of 25 seats in North-east, BJP likely to win 17 seats, others 8.

Maharashtra
Out of 48 seats in Maharashtra, BJP likely to win 30 seats, Congress 5, Shiv Sena 8 and NCP 5.

Uttar Pradesh
Out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh, BJP likely to win 55 seats, BSP 9 , SP 9, Congress 5 and others 2.

Tamil Nadu
Out of 39 seats in Tamil Nadu, Congress likely to win 3, AIADMK 14, DMK 17 and others 5.

Kerala
Out of 20 seats in Kerala, BJP likely to win 1 seat, Congress 7, Left 7 and others 5.

Andhra Pradesh
Out of 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh, BJP likely to win 1 seat, TDP 8 and YSR 16.

Karnataka
Out of 28 seats in Karnataka, BJP likely to win 15 seats, Congress 9 and JD(S) 4.

Gujarat
Out of 26 seats in Gujarat, BJP likely to win all 26 seats.

Odisha
Out of 21 seats in Odisha, BJP likely to win 5 seats and BJD 16.

West Bengal
Out of 42 seats in West Bengal, BJP likely to win 8 seats, Congress 2, TMC 27 and Left 5.

Bihar
Out of 40 seats in Bihar, BJP likely to win 15 seats, Congress 1, RJD 10, JD(U) 9 and others 5.

Haryana
Out of 10 seats in Haryana, BJP likely to win 8 seats, Congress 1 and INLD 1.

Punjab
Out of 13 seats in Punjab, Congress likely to win 8 seats, SAD 4 and AAP 1.

Rajasthan
Out of 25 seats in Rajasthan, BJP likely to win 12 seats and Congress 13.

Chhattisgarh
Out of 11 seats in Chhattisgarh, BJP likely to win 7 seats and Congress 4 seats.

Madhya Pradesh
Out of 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh, BJP likely to win 20 seats and Congress 9 seats.
