The results of the crucial assembly polls in five states, seen as a semi-final to next year's Lok Sabha elections, are set to be declared on December 11. The states that went to polls were Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Mizoram and Rajasthan.

Even though political fortunes of these five states are yet to be revealed with the election results on Tuesday, various exit polls have umpteen things to say. According to exit polls, the Congress party is seen giving a tough fight to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, while it is believed to be making a clean sweep in Rajasthan.

In Telangana, the exit polls have predicted that the ruling TRS will retain power and the gamble by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to dissolve the Assembly ahead of schedule may have worked in his favour.

To present before you a clearer picture of the exit polls along with a poll of polls analysis, Senior Executive Producer Surbhi Sharma along with India TV Digital journalists Manoj Kumar, Nidhi Taneja, Sachin Chaturvedi and Shashank Shantanu delve deeper to find out what actually the exit polls could mean.
