BJP achieved a historic fate by securing victory in Tripura Assembly Elections 2018 today. From one per cent to over 50 per cent vote share with two years, BJP has achieved an unprecedented feat in the northeast states. And the party's performance has been commendable in Nagaland and Meghalaya as well.
In Nagaland, BJP-NDPP alliance was neck-and-neck with ruling NPF. While in Meghalaya, the party has been able to upset ruling Congress from a comfortable victory. (Follow full coverage on counting 3 North East states on India TV)
