The Congress' list of candidates has been announced just days after reports emerged that  Digvijaya Singh got into a spat with Jyotiraditya Scindia during a meeting over ticket distribution in presence party president Rahul Gandhi.

However, Digvijaya had later refuted reports and said there were fissures in the party.

"It is being wrongly reported in the press that I and Jyotiraditya Scindhiaji had any argument and Rahulji had to intervene. All of us in Madhya Pradesh Congress is one and determined to defeat the corrupt BJP government (sic)," Digvijaya Singh had said in his tweet.
