The Kaiserganj seat comprises 5 Assembly segments including Payagpur, Kaiserganj, Katrabazar, Colonelganj, Tarabganj. The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The BJP, the BSP are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Brijbhusan Sharan Singh from BJP won the seat with a margin of 261,601 votes. Brijbhusan Sharan Singh was polled 581,358 votes with a vote share of 59.00 % and defeated Chandradev Ram Yadav from BSP who got 319,757 votes (32.55 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Brij Bhusan Sharan Singh from BJP won the seat and was polled 381,500 votes with a vote share of 40.44%. SP Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -SP candidate Vinod Kumar Alias Pandit Singh got 303,282 votes (32.15 %) and was the runner-up.Brij Bhusan Sharan Singh defeated Vinod Kumar Alias Pandit Singh by a margin of 78,218 votes.
