Devendra Singh Bhole was polled 581,282 votes with a vote share of 57.00 % and defeated Nisha Sachan from BSP who got 306,140 votes (29.82 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Devendra Singh @ Bhole Singh from BJP won the seat and was polled 481,584 votes with a vote share of 49.57%.
