The BJP, the INC are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Om Birla from BJP won the seat with a margin of 279,677 votes. Om Birla was polled 800,051 votes with a vote share of 58.00 % and defeated Ramnarain Meena from INC who got 520,374 votes (38.04 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Om Birla from BJP won the seat and was polled 644,822 votes with a vote share of 55.78%. INC Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -INC candidate Ijyaraj Singh got 444,040 votes (38.41 %) and was the runner-up.Om Birla defeated Ijyaraj Singh by a margin of 200,782 votes.
