The SHS, the INC are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Rahul Ramesh Shewale from SHS won the seat with a margin of 152,139 votes. Rahul Ramesh Shewale was polled 424,913 votes with a vote share of 53.00 % and defeated Eknath M. Gaikwad from INC who got 272,774 votes (34.19 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Rahul Ramesh Shewale from Shivsena won the seat and was polled 381,008 votes with a vote share of 49.56%. INC Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -INC candidate Eknath M. Gaikwad got 242,828 votes (31.59 %) and was the runner-up.Rahul Ramesh Shewale defeated Eknath M. Gaikwad by a margin of 138,180 votes.
