The Hatkanangle seat comprises 6 Assembly segments including Shahuwadi, Hatkanangle, Ichalkaranji, Shirol, Islampur, Shirala. The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The SHS, the SWP are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Dhairyasheel Sambhajirao Mane from SHS won the seat with a margin of 96,039 votes. Dhairyasheel Sambhajirao Mane was polled 585,776 votes with a vote share of 47.00 % and defeated Raju Anna Shetti from SWP who got 489,737 votes (39.04 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Raju Shetty from SWP won the seat and was polled 640,428 votes with a vote share of 53.80%. INC Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -INC candidate Awade Kallappa Baburao got 462,618 votes (38.87 %) and was the runner-up.Raju Shetty defeated Awade Kallappa Baburao by a margin of 177,810 votes.
