The Buldhana seat comprises 6 Assembly segments including Buldhana, Chikhli, Sindkhedraja, Mehkar, Khamgaon, Jalgaon(jamod). The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The SHS, the NCP are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao from SHS won the seat with a margin of 133,287 votes. Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao was polled 521,977 votes with a vote share of 47.00 % and defeated Dr. Rajendra Bhaskarrav Shingne from NCP who got 388,690 votes (34.67 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao from Shivsena won the seat and was polled 509,145 votes with a vote share of 52.01%. NCP Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -NCP candidate Ingle Krushanarao Ganpatrao got 349,566 votes (35.71 %) and was the runner-up.Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao defeated Ingle Krushanarao Ganpatrao by a margin of 159,579 votes.
