Tumkur Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results - Tumkur is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Karnataka. The state has 28 parliamentary seats. The Tumkur seat comprises 8 Assembly segments including Chiknayakanhalli, Tiptur, Turuvekere, Tumkurcity, Tumkurrural, Koratagere, Gubbi, Madhugiri. The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The BJP, the JD(S) are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, G. S. Basavaraj from BJP won the seat with a margin of 13,339 votes. G. S. Basavaraj was polled 596,127 votes with a vote share of 48.00 % and defeated H. D. Devegowda from JD(S) who got 582,788 votes (46.79 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Muddahanumegowda.s.p. from INC won the seat and was polled 429,868 votes with a vote share of 39.01%. BJP Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -BJP candidate G.s.basavaraj got 355,827 votes (32.29 %) and was the runner-up.Muddahanumegowda.s.p. defeated G.s.basavaraj by a margin of 74,041 votes.
