Bijapur Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results - Bijapur is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Karnataka. The state has 28 parliamentary seats. The Bijapur seat comprises 8 Assembly segments including Muddebihal, Devarhippargi, Basavanabagevadi, Babaleshwar, Bijapurcity, Nagthan, Indi, Sindgi. The constituency is a SC seat. The BJP, the JD(S) are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Jigajinagi Ramesh Chandappa from BJP won the seat with a margin of 258,038 votes. Jigajinagi Ramesh Chandappa was polled 635,867 votes with a vote share of 57.00 % and defeated Dr. Sunita Devanand Chavan from JD(S) who got 377,829 votes (33.96 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Ramesh Jigajinagi from BJP won the seat and was polled 471,757 votes with a vote share of 48.80%. INC Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -INC candidate Prakash Rathod got 401,938 votes (41.57 %) and was the runner-up.Ramesh Jigajinagi defeated Prakash Rathod by a margin of 69,819 votes.
