The BJP, the INC are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Rathva Gitaben Vajesingbhai from BJP won the seat with a margin of 377,943 votes. Rathva Gitaben Vajesingbhai was polled 764,445 votes with a vote share of 62.00 % and defeated Rathava Ranjitsinh Mohansinh from INC who got 386,502 votes (31.29 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Ramsinh Rathwa from BJP won the seat and was polled 607,916 votes with a vote share of 55.18%. INC Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -INC candidate Naranbhai Jemalabhai Rathva got 428,187 votes (38.87 %) and was the runner-up.Ramsinh Rathwa defeated Naranbhai Jemalabhai Rathva by a margin of 179,729 votes.
