The South Delhi seat comprises 10 Assembly segments including Bijwasan, Palam, Mehrauli, Chhatarpur, Deoli, Ambedkarnagar, Sangamvihar, Kalkaji, Tughlakabad, Badarpur. The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The BJP, the AAP are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Ramesh Bidhuri from BJP won the seat with a margin of 367,043 votes. Ramesh Bidhuri was polled 687,014 votes with a vote share of 57.00 % and defeated Raghav Chadha from AAP who got 319,971 votes (26.34 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Ramesh Bidhuri from BJP won the seat and was polled 497,980 votes with a vote share of 45.15%. AAP Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -AAP candidate Col Devinder Sehrawat got 390,980 votes (35.45 %) and was the runner-up.Ramesh Bidhuri defeated Col Devinder Sehrawat by a margin of 107,000 votes.
