Katihar Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results - Katihar is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar. The state has 40 parliamentary seats. The Katihar seat comprises 6 Assembly segments including Katihar, Kadwa, Balrampur, Pranpur, Manihari(st), Barari. The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The JD(U), the INC are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Dulal Chandra Goswami from JD(U) won the seat with a margin of 57,203 votes. Dulal Chandra Goswami was polled 559,423 votes with a vote share of 50.00 % and defeated Tariq Anwar from INC who got 502,220 votes (44.91 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Tariq Anwar from NCP won the seat and was polled 431,292 votes with a vote share of 44.11%. BJP Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -BJP candidate Nikhil Kumar Choudhary got 316,552 votes (32.37 %) and was the runner-up.Tariq Anwar defeated Nikhil Kumar Choudhary by a margin of 114,740 votes.
