Arrah Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results - Arrah is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar. The state has 40 parliamentary seats. The Arrah seat comprises 7 Assembly segments including Sandesh, Barhara, Arrah, Agiaon(sc), Tarari, Jagdishpur, Shahpur. The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The BJP, the CPI(ML)(L) are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, R. K. Singh from BJP won the seat with a margin of 147,285 votes. R. K. Singh was polled 566,480 votes with a vote share of 52.00 % and defeated Raju Yadav from CPI(ML)(L) who got 419,195 votes (38.73 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Raj Kumar Singh from BJP won the seat and was polled 391,074 votes with a vote share of 43.78%. RJD Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -RJD candidate Sribhagwan Singh Kushwaha got 255,204 votes (28.57 %) and was the runner-up.Raj Kumar Singh defeated Sribhagwan Singh Kushwaha by a margin of 135,870 votes.
Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury lost to TMC candidate Yusuf Pathan in Baharampur constituency by around 85,022 votes, according to the Election Commission of India data. Adhir Chowdhury secured 4,39,494 votes while Yusuf Pathan secured 5,24,516 votes.

PM Modi visited ancient Nalanda University ruins in Bihar ahead of inaugurating the new Nalanda University campus in Rajgir. This was his first visit to state since Lok Sabha polls. Established around 1,600 years ago, the original Nalanda University is among world's first residential residential.
