Barpeta Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results - Barpeta is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Assam. The state has 14 parliamentary seats. The Barpeta seat comprises 10 Assembly segments including Bongaigaon, Abhayapurinorth, Abhayapurisouth, Patacharkuchi, Barpeta, Jania, Baghbar, Sarukhetri, Chenga, Dharmapur. The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The INC, the AGP are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Abdul Khaleque from INC won the seat with a margin of 140,307 votes. Abdul Khaleque was polled 645,173 votes with a vote share of 44.00 % and defeated Kumar Deepak Das from AGP who got 504,866 votes (34.61 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Siraj Uddin Ajmal from AIUDF won the seat and was polled 394,702 votes with a vote share of 32.70%. BJP Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results -BJP candidate Chandra Mohan Patowary got 352,361 votes (29.19 %) and was the runner-up.Siraj Uddin Ajmal defeated Chandra Mohan Patowary by a margin of 42,341 votes.
