According to the party sources, the in-charges will be ultimately the candidates on the respective seats.

The poll panel on September 26 had said that it has enhanced the requirement of additional VVPATs from 125 per cent to 135 per cent considering the trend of failure rate of the machines in past elections, besides adopting improved hardware for them.
"Elections are going to happen next year, typically that doesn't help sentiments at least prior to the elections. So it might lead to change in seasonality (sales) next year coming closer to the elections," Mercedes-Benz India Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Michael Jopp told PTI.
