According to a report published by Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), 28 per cent of the candidates in the fifth phase are crorepatis.
The party, in its letter, said, "[The prime minister is] encouraging horse trading, by hinting that the members of the AITC will cross over to the BJP and using this lie to influence the voters and using this lie to persuade the voters."
Sunny Deol, whose real name is Ajay Singh Deol, declared the assets in his affidavit to Election Commission of India (ECI), filed on Monday along with his nomination papers.

The term of mayor is for one year. The third term of the five-year tenure of the corporation is reserved for SC candidates to become mayor.
