Some handful of children who waited on the banks of Ganga in Mirzapur today, with a faint hope of getting a glimpse of Priyanka Gandhi were in for a huge surprise.
Just when the lights were about to fade, the kids spotted few boats passing through. It was not usual and they immediately realised that it was the boat they were waiting for the whole day.
However, in fading light it was no way Priyanka Gandhi could have spotted them from quite a distance. That's when these children used mobile phone flash lights to draw her attention. And it worked.

Priyanka, who was not scheduled to stop there, asked the team to stop. Since the big boat she was on could not reach the banks for water level did not permit, Priyanka asked for a smaller ferry boat. As expected, security raised concerns. But Priyanka did what she wanted.
She took the boat to reach the banks between Chandika Ghat and Sindhora Ghat.
The children were delighted. Congress general secretary talked to the children who clicked selfies with her.
Priyanka Gandhi was definitely happy moving her standards out of Delhi to Mirzapur.
