The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) have reached a seat-sharing agreement ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2019.
“Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will fight on 10 seats and BJP on 3 seats in Punjab in upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019,” ANI quoted BJP president Amit Shah as saying.
SAD leaders including Sukhbir Singh Badal met Shah at the latter's residence here on Thursday.
LS polls are scheduled to take place in the months of April-May.
