Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday joined Twitter. Within minutes, her official handle on the microblogging site @priyankagandhi drew thousands of followers.

The launch of Priyanka’s social media presence came on the same day as her mega roadshow in Lucknow. Her decision to join active politics ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2019 has sent a wave of excitement among Congress workers.
