PM Narendra Modi casts his vote in Ahmedabad

He voted at the polling booth of Nishan Vidyalaya in Ranip area of Ahmedabad. In 2014 Lok Sabha elections too, PM Modi had voted from the same polling booth.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi 

As the third phase polling for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections is underway, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the polling and casted his vote in Ahmedabad. 

He voted at the polling booth of Nishan Vidyalaya in Ranip area of Ahmedabad. In 2014 Lok Sabha elections too, PM Modi had voted from the same polling booth.   

 

PM took to his Twitter account and wrote, "Urging all those voting in today’s Third Phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections to do so in record numbers. Your vote is precious and will shape the direction our nation takes in the years to come."

"I’ll be voting in Ahmedabad in a short while from now," he added. 

Ahmedabad District Collector, Vikrant Pandey, on Monday, supervised and inspected the polling booth and security arrangements the Prime Minister’s visit in this densely populated area.

Apart from PM Modi, Amit Shah will also vote from Naranpura area in Ahmedabad. 

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will cast his vote form his vote at a booth on SG Highway in the western part of Ahmedabad.
