Union Minister Uma Bharti on Thursday alleged that the only obstruction in the construction of Ram Temple is Congress’ conspiracy.
“If Congress supports us on Ram Temple then the path is open. The only obstruction in the construction of Ram Temple is Congress’ conspiracy, they are preparing to incite violence in the country,” news agency ANI quoted Uma Bharti as saying.
Meanwhile, seers in the temple town of Ayodhya on Thursday -- the 26th anniversary of Babri mosque demolition -- offered prayers and sought divine intervention for early construction of a Ram temple.
On December 6, 1992, the mosque was demolished by 'karsevaks'.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal marked the day as 'Shaurya Diwas' and 'Vijay Diwas' (day of victory). Muslim outfits observed the day as 'Yaum E Gham' and 'Yaum E Syah' (black day).
It is pertinent to mention here that the issue of the construction of Ram temple is gaining momentum before the Lok Sabha elections 2019 which is scheduled to take place in the months of April-May.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ally Shiv Sena is pressuring the government to bring an ordinance for the construction of the temple.
