Lok Sabha elections 2019 | PM Narendra Modi likely to contest from Odisha or West Bengal: Sources

Lok Sabha elections 2019 is scheduled to take place in the months of April, May. The general elections will constitute the 17th Lok Sabha.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi may fight Lok Sabha elections 2019 from Odisha or West Bengal, said sources. In 2014 polls, PM Modi had fought from Varanasi, in Uttar Pradesh. In total, his party won 73 out of 80 LS seats in the state.

PM also fought from Gujarat’s Vadodara seat. In Gujarat, the saffron party won on all 26 LS seats.

This time the party is hoping to repeat the same magic. As per the sources, the PM will fight from Varanasi but he can also fight from Odisha or West Bengal.

Lok Sabha elections 2019 is scheduled to take place in the months of April, May. The general elections will constitute the 17th Lok Sabha.

Legislative Assembly elections in the states of Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim and Jammu and Kashmir are expected to be held simultaneously with the LS polls.
