Just a few months ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2019 Union Minister Ramdas Athawale said that Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP)-Samajwadi Party (SP) alliance will not last long as “voters do not approve of it.”

“Mayawati became CM thrice with support from BJP. If she wants to work for the upliftment of Dalits then she should consider forming an alliance with Modi ji. BSP-SP alliance will not last long as voters do not approve of it,” ANI quoted Athawale as saying, on Monday.

It is pertinent to mention here that recently SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and BSP supremo Mayawati have entered into an alliance in which they have agreed on 38 seats each.
