Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik re-nominated sitting MLA and former state minister Pradip Maharathy from Pipili and Sameer Dash from Nimapara. Similarly, sitting MLAs Pramod Mallick and Surendra Sethi were also fielded from Niali and Kakatpur Assembly constituencies respectively which they represent at present.

The BJP on Sunday announced names of four more Lok Sabha candidates for Gujarat. With this, the party has announced the names of 371 candidates so far.

"Modi is creating problems for Kejriwal, Mamata and me because we work for people, people are ready to send you to Gujarat," said Chandrababu Naidu at public rally in Vishakhapatnam.

"Pakistan could not divide India on religious lines in 70 years, Modi-Shah did it in 5 years," said Arvind Kejriwal at Visakhapatnam rally.

PM Modi at 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' program in Delhi said that every first time voter should realise that they have reached a stage where they can have a say in country's decision making process.

Answering to question asked as to why Congress is frustrated with Chowkidars, he said that Congress members are not able to digest the leadership of Chaiwala.

Talking about Mission Shakti, PM Modi said that every Indian is proud of it and it has no relation with upcoming election. "Ahead of India, only three countries have launched such a satellite", he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured that the looted money will be brought back, and that he will spare no one. Our aim is to acknowledge the effort of honest people of the country, he said. Secondly, anyone who does injustice to the nation should not be spared, he added.

Pakistan probably thought Modi was busy in elections and won't do anything. But little did they know, country is the priority for Modi and not elections. It has been proved that there are terrorist camps running in Pakistan, this stamp is troubling them.  It is also unfortunate how leaders here are helping Pakistan with their statements.

She asks what will be the prime minister's expectations from people when he takes oath as the next Prime Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked her for the faith shown in the government, and responded saying that he alone would not take this oath. We can find solution ourselves if we keep the nation above everything, PM Modi says.

BJP has released a list of four candidates in Gujarat for the Lok Sabha election. One candidate for by-election to the Talala assembly constituency has also been announced. 

It is not only a commitment made by Congress and Manmohan Singh ji, it is a commitment made by the country to Andhra Pradesh. It's our commitment that we'll give special status to Andhra Pradesh the moment we come to power in Delhi

Mr Modi has been the Prime Minister for 5 years and he has not fulfilled his commitment of giving special status to Andhra and frankly I am surprised that the parties in Andhra Pradesh aren't aggressively pushing for Mr Modi to give Andhra what it has been promised

He's fighting in one of the 20 constituencies (in Kerala) and doesn't need to be seen as any different. We'll fight him. He should've contested from a constituency where BJP is contesting, it's nothing but a fight against Left.

This shows their priority now is to fight against Left in Kerala. It goes against Congress' national commitment to fight BJP, as in Kerala it's LDF which is the main force fighting BJP there. To pick a candidate like Rahul Gandhi against Left means that Congress is going to target the Left in Kerala. This is something which we will strongly oppose and in this election we will work to ensure the defeat of Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad.
