  • Nara Lokesh was born on January 23, 1983.
  • He carries forward a family legacy of excellence. He is the only child of Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Bhuvaneswari.
  • He is the grandson of Telugu icon and actor-turned-politician late NT Rama Rao.
  • He married his maternal cousin Brahmani, daughter of Indian film actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna in 2007.
  • Nara Lokesh was formally inducted into TDP in May 2013, and he worked on the election strategy for 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
  • He became the Cabinet Minister for Information Technology, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development in Andhra Pradesh in 2017.
  • India’s first ever government-backed Cyber Security Operations Centre, (AP- CSOC), was designed, developed and launched under his watch.
  • He laid the groundwork for e-Panchayat that helps in the transparent devolution of funds and increases people’s participation in decision-making.
