The campaign for the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2018 has entered in the final phase and both BJP and Congress are claiming to win the state elections. The fate of the 2,654 candidates contesting the assembly elections in Karnataka will be sealed in the electronic voting machines on May 12. The counting of votes will take place on May 15.
As the date of polling draws closer, both Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress have increased the campaign heat with road shows, election rallies and the leaders' visits to temples across the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa are the star campaigners the for BJP. Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah are the star campaigner for Congress. Leaders of both the parties have left no stone unturned to draft voters in their camps.
